Order processing (m/f/d)

Variomeat GmbH is a wholesale company for raw materials in the meat industry and supplies numerous sausage factories in Europe, including the animal feed industry.

The company has been successfully operating in the food industry for over 6 years, importing and exporting fresh and frozen food from all over the world and is therefore a reliable partner for all of its customers. Teamwork and fairness in dealing with all players are part of the company’s identity.

Become a full-time part of our team as an order processing clerk (m/f/d) as soon as possible.

Your tasks:

• Transport organization nationally and internationally for fresh and frozen goods in the food and animal feed sector
• Independent procurement and allocation of transport orders for trucks and partial loads
• Processing and conducting of tender inquiries (transport requests)
• Calculation of transport prices
• Management and creation of transport documents
• Processing and monitoring of timely solutions for our customers

Your profile:

• Completed commercial training, ideally as a freight forwarder or equivalent knowledge (Commercial training, e.g., industrial clerk)
• First experiences in the field of transport management desirable
• Good knowledge of MS Office
• Good IT skills
• English language proficiency required, additional languages such as Polish advantageous
• You work in a structured, reliable, and conscientious manner, taking responsibility
• You have a high level of resilience and possess a professional and results-oriented working style
• Customer-oriented thinking and acting
• You are communicative, flexible, mobile, and enjoy working in a team
